Signature sizes

Postby giZZy » 27 Jan 2010, 18:46

I have noticed the sizes of the signatures being used and I need to ask you ladies a favor. Could we keep the signature sizes under 250 px tall?

To show all of your normal sized tags, you may also create an account at Picasa and store the tags there then link it to the image you use in your signature.

You may keep your rotations, but please reduce the size of the tags that are actually rotating.

This seems to be a very good size:

This is 200x500 px

They don't have to be exactly this size, but let's cut down on the 500 px signatures please.

Much appreciated.

You do not have to change the size of tags being posted. This only applies to those tags being worn in the signatures.

Yeah, normally there weren't many restrictions on it, but the bigger the tags got, the bigger the signatures got lol

I LOVE the tags and things that are shown, but I found myself getting lost in a topic because of all the images.

I am sure it is heck on the slower connections trying to get a page to load.

I don't mean to be hard or anything... ;^_^

I have a fast connection and it is easy to forget that having big and many images just slows it down for those who don't ... I don't think you're being hard, I think you're being fair .. I know when I had a slow computer and connection, going to sites that took long to load would put me off and I'd close the browser.

Same here. I remember back in the day, if there were more than two images on the page, my computer wouldn't load it... But, man that was a long time ago. (I feel old lol)

I also tend to forget myself sometimes.

Tending to forget, isn't that an old age thing too? *smirk* and on that note, I think it is time to comply and I'll remove my sig link until I have a second to go through them and make sure they're smaller ones there

I also will help out on that by making the gift tags smaller at the end of the challenge week. That might be a good thing lmao

;)

No worries. There are plenty of ways to show off tags. I put mine on a free google site to show them off. And there are online photoalbums out the patooty.

The tags can be used in posts, shown off in posts, posted wherever. Just signature-wise, the size had to be cut down.

I noticed when we do challenges the tags are never small, hence how the problem started. So Im assuming we can still do those kind of tags, just show them off on an album rather then in a rotating siggy
